Description: A mixed 40-voice volunteer community chorus performing a cappella and accompanied works.

Mission: The Pacific Masterworks Chorus is devoted to high quality choral performance, embracing a wide variety of repertoire ranging from works of the a cappella tradition through accompanied compositions including choral masterworks. We seek to perform distinctive choral music that will have value to both our performers and to our audiences.
Emphasis: Choral masterworks, contemporary, a cappella, classical, spiritual, and popular
Size: 40 voices
Concerts/Year: 3-5
Skills Required : Sightreading is preferred. Learning tapes are used for note learning. Ability to memorize a 45-minute set of music.
Auditions: yes
Dues: $150 per season
Dress: Women’s Concert Dress: Black Pacific Masterworks Chorus dress & jacket, pearl necklace and earrings, black stockings/hose, black (comfortable) shoes. The dress, jacket, pearl necklace and earrings are purchased through the Pacific Masterworks Chorus.

Men’s Concert Dress: Black tuxedo, white tuxedo shirt or dickey, black bow tie, black socks and black shoes.
Rehearsals: Wednesday nights from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at St. Clare’s Episcopal Church, 3350 Hopyard Road, Pleasanton. Additional sectional rehearsals will be noted on a forthcoming calendar or may be called from time to time. The Pacific Masterworks Chorus will hold a fall and a spring retreat.
