Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, community chorus, open to the general public.
Year Estab: 1974
Mission: To promote the performance of good choral literature and teach people how to be good chorus members as well as to improve musical skills.
Emphasis: 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th century choral works written for chorus, soloists, and instrumental accompaniment.
Size: 35-45
Concerts/Year: Two
Auditions: No
Dues: $65 per semester for continuing education; approximately $26 for registered students
Dress: Men: White shirt, four-in-hand ties, dark trousers; Women: white blouse, dark skirts
Rehearsals: Monday, 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Arts Building, Room 133, City College of SF, 50 Phelan Ave (corner of Judson & Phelan), San Francisco
