| Description: | This is an amateur, community, recreational chorus open to the general public. The 160 voice chorale is open, space permitting. All other ensembles and performances require audition. |

| Comments: | Recently performed a staged performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Trial By Jury. The Sonoma Valley Chorale, Inc., has a membership comprised primarily of residents of the greater Sonoma Valley. However, the membership is also comprised of singers from Santa Rosa, Windsor, Healdsburg, Napa Valley, areas of Marin and San Francisco. The Sonoma Valley Chorale performs regularly with instrumental ensembles and orchestra hired from amongst the best freelance instrumentalists in the Bay Area. It is the philosophy of Music Director James Griewe to draw from the Chorale membership for all soloists utilized in performances." |
