Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, recreational, special interest men's chorus, open to the general public.
Year Estab: 1974
Mission: To promote barbershop harmony
Emphasis: A cappella only; four-part close harmony for men's voices
Concerts/Year: Approximately 6
Auditions: Yes, held at a Chapter rehearsal. Auditions are held whenever the candidate feels he is ready. The candidate must be able to sing his part accurately in a quartet.
Dues: $81 per year.
Dress: Tuxedo-type uniform, brown and beige.
Rehearsals: Monday, 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Broadmoore Community Church, 300 Dowling (corner of Dutton Ave. at Breed), San Leandro
