| Mission: | The California Redwood Chorale is interested in exciting projects and destinations. |
| Emphasis: | The intent of the California Redwood Chorale is to sing all styles of music. However, the current emphasis in the next two years will be to perform the Missa Brevis by Kodaly. The Chorale plans to give concerts of the Missa Brevis in the Bay Area and then, in the summer of 2010, take the music to Budapest, Hungary where Kodaly composed it in 1944. |

| Dress: | The chorale wears all black. |
| Rehearsals: | Our usual rehearsal time is Sunday from 1 - 3 PM. We start by rehearsing every other week and then every week when performances are pending. Currently we rehearse in Petaluma. Most of the singers are from Sonoma and Marin counties. |

Other Information
| History: | The Chorale went to Hungary in June 2007 and gave a series of five concerts in the Lake Balaton region. A number of Hungarian choirs shared the stage at the concerts. In the summer of 2008, the Chorale participated in the prestigious International Choral Kathaumixw in British Columbia, Canada. During 2009 and 2010, the Chorale has exciting plans. |
