Basic Information

Description: This is a semi-professional, community chorus, open to the general public. It is totally independent--not affiliated with any civic or religious organization. All ages are welcome.

Year Estab: 1968
Mission: To provide a broad spectrum of musical entertainment.
Emphasis: Varied--from classics to pops, including sacred and secular, both a cappella and accompanied.
Size: 35-40 (approximately half men, half women)
Concerts/Year: 25-30 concerts a year, both local and on tour.
Auditions: Yes, held at the rehearsal hall, year round. Auditions include testing of range, music reading, vocal blend, ear: tone and pattern matching.
Dues: $15 per month
Dress: Men: blacktuxedo; women: floor length gowns with lace float.
Rehearsals: Monday evenings--year round, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Raynor Christian Church (Fellowship Hall), 1515 Partridge Avenue, Sunnyvale
