Description: This group is an amateur, community, special interest chorus, open to the general public.

Mission: To provide the Third Baptist Church as well as the Bay Area community with the highest caliber of music (anthems, spirituals, hymns, and gospel selections.)
Emphasis: The highest caliber of church music.

Auditions: Yes. At the Third Baptist Church, as scheduled by the Minister of Music, held at any time of the year. Auditions include a musical piece of one's choosing and a musical piece to be sight read; vocal scales to determine vocal range.

Related Groups: Haywood Singers, which began in Fall, 1991. The Haywood Singers is a professional musical ensemble which places emphasis on the presentation of quality musical esxpression in the black music tradition.
