Basic Information

Description: This is a non-profit, self-sustaining community chorus of about 120 singers, open to the public, with members drawn largely from the Blackhawk, Danville, Alamo, San Ramon-Tri-Valley areas.

Mission: To enjoy the enormous benefits and camaraderie of choral singing and performing.
Emphasis: We mix all manner of styles and periods, including classical, Broadway, spirituals, modern American music, etc. No particular emphasis.
Size: 118-120
Concerts/Year: 10 (5 or 6 per season)
Auditions: Yes, held at the beginning of each season--September and January. Call the conductor for more information. Audition criteria are at the discretion of the conductor.
Dues: $25-50 per year.
Dress: Women: full-length black skirts, white blouses; men: black tuxedos, white shirts, black bow ties.
Rehearsals: Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., To be determined, ,
