Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, community, educational chorus, open to the general public.

Mission: The study and performance of a cappella and accompanied choral works for small ensemble.
Emphasis: Renaissance music emphasized in Fall. Repertoire is broad to include sacred and secular music of all eras, folk music, multicultural, and seasonal.
Size: 16-25
Concerts/Year: 3-6 performances
Auditions: Yes, through an interview with the director at registration. Auditions are held during the second to last week in August and the second to last week in January. Auditions include scales to assess range, tonal memory test, sight reading, any solo.
Dues: $26 per semester; $ 20 for parking
Dress: Black and white or Renaissance costumes provided by school.
Rehearsals: Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Solano Community College, 4000 Suisun Valley Road, Suisun
