| Mission: | The Santa Rosa Children's Chorus was established to provide Sonoma county with a children's chorus of highest quality. Our members receive professional choral training, musicianship, and performance experience. They grow musically and socially as they learn and work together. |
| Emphasis: | Classical in training concepts. Repertoire includes classical, folk, Americana, some popular, and contemporary literature. |
| Size: | 32-35 in Concert Group |
| Concerts/Year: | Approximately 25 |
| Auditions: | Yes, held in January, June, and September by appointment at the Presbyterian Church of the Roses. Auditioners are asked to prepare a simple song--usually sung a cappella in company of 4-6 other hopefuls. " They also must be able to match pitches, and show rhythmic and melodic capabilities. The trainer palys a scale and asks each to duplicate the rhythm, etc. " |

| Dress: | Concert Group has winter and summer uniforms, custom designed and made. The Training Group and Intermediate Group girls wear nice dresses, white tights; boys wear white shirt, tie, leather shoes. |
