Description: This is an academic chorus, open to the general public.

Mission: To provide an ensemble experience for students in the B.A. program; gives students (and faculty and staff) an opportunity to sing and be a member of a vocal chorale.
Emphasis: Broad range--classical to light, popular to folk music, foreign languages; eclectic--a well-rounded program, etc.
Size: 30-40 (expected to increase in the future)
Concerts/Year: 3
Auditions: Yes, held at the Center of Performing Arts, Santa Clara University in September/January/March (during the first week of classes.) Call for information concerning auditions.
Dues: $20 per quarter
Dress: Formal
Rehearsals: Tuesday, Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Center of Performing Arts, Lafayette and Franklin, Santa Clara

Comments: There is a summer choir open to the public through the Graduate Program of Pastoral Ministries. It is a 50-voice choir. No auditions. $20. Classical masterworks, Monday evenings, 6 weeks in June-July. The concert is performed at Mission Santa Clara on the campus at the end of July. 1998 is the 15th year of this program."
