Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, secular, special interest community chorus, open to the general public.

Mission: To promote peace and justice through song; to promote inter-cultural, inter-generational and inter-racial interaction, respect and appreciation. We enjoy making beautiful music.
Emphasis: We do all styles of music, including our own arrangements, and original compositions by some of our members.

Concerts/Year: 1 major concert per year, and 1-2 community perfor
Auditions: Yes, in September, January, and May. Auditions require a brief demonstration of an ability to match pitch and repeat short vocal exercises.
Dues: Yes, $10-$20 per month, depending on ability to pa
Dress: Black pants/skirts with rainbow-colored tunics on top.
Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:30-9:30 pm, CHAI House, 814 St. Elizabeth Drive, San Jose
