| Description: | The San Francisco Concert Chorale is a non-professional group which rehearses and performs to exacting professional standards. Our membership includes administrators, entrepreneurs, project managers, instructors, web designers, students, gardeners, radiologists, and more. We relish the cultural, social and musical diversity of the Bay Area, and welcome singers from all walks of life. |

| Mission: | To study, rehearse and ultimately deliver high-quality performances of a varied choral repertoire in appropriate venues. |
| Emphasis: | An emphasis has been placed in recent years on collaborations and the introduction of new works (or new or unusual versions of works) to our audiences (see outstanding musical events below). Repertoire is drawn from across the width and breadth of international choral literature. |

| Auditions: | Auditions are twice yearly (in the summer and in January, as needed) in the San Francisco area at various sites including our rehearsal space, St. Paul's, and our director's home. Auditions should include a prepared song (preferably classical), basic sight singing, ability to read simple rhythms, and demonstration of range, intonation, dynamic control and ability to blend. |
| Dues: | $200 per year |
| Dress: | Men: black tuxedo or suit, white shirt, black bow tie, black shoes; women: black ankle-length dress, long sleeves (at least 3/4 length) or black pants and black top; black shoes; black stockings. |
