Mission: | The San Francisco City Chorus is a community-based organization dedicated to providing Bay Area residents, choral music lovers, singers and audiences with satisfying and enjoyable musical experiences through concerts and educational efforts. |
Emphasis: | Classical; modern music of all nations; madrigals; small and large works; early Renaissance; Baroque; pops; jazz. |

Concerts/Year: | 3 concerts plus 10-15 Christmas caroling gigs |
Auditions: | Yes, call 765-7664 (SONG) for information and appointments. Auditions are held in August/September; December/January, March. Auditions require the ability to sustain tones against distracting tones; maintain good relative pitch; and read music. |
Dues: | $40 per concert cycle |
Dress: | Women: black floor-lengthskirts/pants, white blouses; Men: dark suits,white shirts |
