Description: This is a semi-professional chamber choir, open to the general public by audition.

Mission: To serve the community of singers, composers, and listeners who are dedicated to cultivating chamber singing of the highest quality.
Emphasis: A cappella choral works for chamber choir from all periods with an emphasis on 20th/21st century works. All concerts include world premieres, with an emphasis on works by Bay Area composers.

Skills Required : You should have extensive choral experience, solo potential, excellent reading and musicianship skills, and should be dedicated to the art of chambe
Auditions: Auditions are held in San Francisco in June, August and by appointment. To request an audition, please send an email with a brief resume to auditions@sfca.org. The audition includes vocalizing, assessment of vocal instrument and aural skills, tonal and atonal sight-reading, 2 prepared works of contrasting style and language.
Payments to Singers: Modest compensation offered for rehearsals and concerts
Dress: Men: tails; Women: formal evening wear
Rehearsals: Monday, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., St. Mary's Cathedral, Gough and Geary, San Francisco
