Basic Information

Description: This is an East Bay, community, children's chorus, open to the general public by audition with members from 18 different cities and over 80 different schools.

Mission: Quality music education and performance opportunities for children ages 7-15 and high school-aged youth.
Emphasis: 16th-20th century classical, contemporary classical, modern American, folk songs, etc.

Concerts/Year: 6 self-produced concerts per year; 1-4 collaborati
Auditions: Yes, held in Piedmont in September and January. The audition includes simple vocal and rhythmic drills and any song of choice in order to determine aptitude and placement.
Dues: $340 per semester
Dress: All groups have choir uniforms.
Rehearsals: Weekday afternoons (day(s) determined by level), 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Locations all in Piedmont, near office, e.g, Piedmont Community Church, Piedmont High School, Piedmont
