Basic Information

Description: This is an semi-professional women's chorus.
Year Estab: 1963
Mission: Entertaining for various organizations throughout the Bay Area, for example, SIRS, women's clubs, Elks, AARP, Filoli, senior clubs, convalescent hospitals, etc.
Emphasis: Broadway, some classics, folk tunes, light operetta, sacred, etc., as requested by the organization for which they perform.
Size: 20+
Concerts/Year: 6-8 performances in the Spring; 8-10 performances
Auditions: Yes, held in in the Conference Room of the Millbrae Recreation Department in mid-January to mid-June, mid-August to mid-December. The applicant should sing a song of her choosing, or a simple vocal exercise.
Dues: Yes
Dress: Long black skirt; short black skirt; white blouses; accessories vary for the occasion
Rehearsals: Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Millbrae Recreation Center, 477 Lincoln Circle, Millbrae
