Mission: | Designed to ground students in world of professional singing, this ensemble places emphasis on performance technique, stage presence, practice strategies, recording, writing, arranging, attitude, audition preparation techniques. |
Emphasis: | Styles include contemporary and classic rhythm and blues; gospel, jazz, traditional folksongs, spirituals, vocal music from Africa, Brazil, Cuba, West Indies. |
