Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, recreational chorus, open to those who join the Senior Center.
Year Estab: 1978
Mission: To enjoy singing fellowship, social contacts, and a friendly group of people. The center needs this for many are alone and need contact with people.
Emphasis: Folk songs; Broadway/show tunes (songs from Show Boat, South Pacific, Merry Widow, Sound of Music); some popular music, such as Suddenly There's A Valley, Under Paris Skies, etc.

Concerts/Year: 1 or 2
Auditions: No
Dues: $12 per year. Must join Golden Gate Park Senior
Dress: Men: white shirt, dark slacks; Women: white blouse, black skirt.
Rehearsals: Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Golden Gate Park Senior Center, 6010 Fulton Street, San Francisco
