History: Ariose was started in 2001 by Leta Miller of the University of California at Santa Cruz, and our director starting in the 2006 season is Michael McGushin. One of the original singers in Ariose, McGushin is known throughout the Santa Cruz community for his tireless work as a pianist, director, vocal coach, and composer for a variety of groups.
