Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, recreational, special interest men's chorus, open to the general public.
Year Estab: 1954
Mission: An ever-growing fraternity of Barbershop Harmony singers, leading the cause of encouraging vocal music in the schools and in our community
Emphasis: Barbershop harmony based on standards set by the Barbershop Harmony Society, Inc., headquartered in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Concerts/Year: 3
Auditions: Yes, held at meeting place any time of year. Very informal. Auditions require an ability to sing a simple melody in tune.
Dues: $132 per year
Dress: Chorus uniform: French blue blazer, white shirt, red polka dots on French blue tie, black trousers and black shoes. Uniform is provided to chorus members.
Rehearsals: Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. , 1st Presbyterian Church, Kensington & Ross, San Anselmo
