Other Information

Related Groups: Varies with opera. Some operas may have opportunities for smaller groups and small solo parts.
Bibliography: Operas are regularly reviewed by localpress: Valley Times, Tri-Valley Herald, Contra Costa Times, Tracy Press, Independent.
Comments: As you can see, we are not a traditional standing chorus. Although many people sing with our chorus in performance after performance, many others come and go for specific operas. Singing with the Livermore Valley Opera chorus is a good opportunity to work with different conductors and up and coming soloists. Our principles have come from all over the greater Bay Area, and as far away as Los Angeles. Chorus members, although mostly from the Tri-Valley Area, have also come to us from further afield (including Los Gatos, Martinez, Berkeley and Richmond.)"
