| History: | Founded in 2003 by three friends, Jeremy Faust, Elaine Robertson and Cole Thomason-Redus, and co-directed from 2005-2008 by Jeremy Faust and Paul Kim. To date, IOCSF has premiered nine works, five from composers found within the ensemble. IOCSF is committed to performing public concerts throughout the Bay Area in order to expand the audience for high-level choral music, and has provided exclusively free concerts since its founding. IOCSF was also created to provide a community where young adult singers with extensive musical backgrounds could come together to create music of high artistic standards with their peers. |
