Description: This is a college performance ensemble , open to the community.

Mission: The Chamber Singers is the primary choral performance group at Holy Names College. It brings together all aspects of musicianship: sensitivity to style; theory; vocal technique, etc.
Emphasis: Emphasis is placed upon sensitive choral singing of shorter works, primarily a cappella, spanning many style periods.
Size: 30
Concerts/Year: Minimum of 2 performances per year
Auditions: Yes, held at Holy Names college by appointment in September and January. Auditions include vocal warmup and a prepared piece of the singer's choosing.
Dues: One audit unit fee per semester. Refer to college
Dress: Black
Rehearsals: Monday; Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., Holy Names College Kennedy Bldg, Rm 403, 3500 Mountain Boulevard, Oakland
