Description: This is an amateur, recreational opera chorus, open to the general public.
Year Estab: 1989
Mission: To produce fully staged opera productions in English with orchestral accompaniment.
Emphasis: Eclectic operas.
Size: 12-80
Concerts/Year: 1-2 production, (app. April and/or September), wit
Auditions: Yes. To be arranged (January and September), at First Presbyterian Church of Livermore, corner of 4th and L Streets, Livermore. Be able to sing a prepared song of own choice for voice quality,range.
Dues: No
Dress: Appropriate costumes provided (such as black robes, neck pieces, and similar hairdos for the Mozart Requiem; peasant costumes for Figaro; and late 19th century costumes for La Boheme.)
Rehearsals: Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., First Presbyterian Church of Livermore, 4th and L Streets, Livermore
