Basic Information

Description: This is a recreational, special interest chorus, open to members of the Association.
Year Estab: 1961
Mission: Sponsored by the California Teachers Association, East Bay Chapter--a recreational activity for the members and for entertainment at the June and Christmas meetings.
Emphasis: Usually a theme--such as a history of dance and music (interrelationships), with a wide variety of music from classical to show tunes to folk. For example, the 1991 Christmas program's theme was holiday scenes. " "
