Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, community women's chorus, open to the general public.
Year Estab: 1992
Mission: To promote enjoyment of choral music and education about little-performed works for women's chorus.
Emphasis: Works composed and/or arranged for women's voices, from Renaissance to barbershop.
Size: Approximately 25
Concerts/Year: 4-Mar
Auditions: Yes, held at the rehearsal site the first month of each semester (September and January). Those auditioning are required to match pitch and blend, and either be able to read music or learn it quickly.
Dues: $50 per semester
Dress: Black long skirt, jewel-tone blouses (5 different colors)
Rehearsals: Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Annunciation Cathedral Choir Room, Rose and Lincoln Streets, Stockton
