Basic Information

Description: This is an amateur, special interest chorus open to the general public if they come to the Senior Center. This is a community service class.
Year Estab: 1986
Mission: Strictly senior enrichment activity; to have fun singing.
Emphasis: Strictly sing-along. Old time songs like 'Let Me Call You Sweetheart,' 'It's A Long Way To Tipperary,' 'Give My Regards To Broadway,' 'I Left My Heart In San Francisco,' etc.
Size: Approximately 100.
Concerts/Year: Approximately 10.

Dues: No
Dress: Suit the occasion.
Rehearsals: Monday, 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 a.m., Veterans Hall, Across from the Danville Hotel, Danville

Comments: They have been featured in Chevron's United Way promotional video, several Chevron-United Way kick-offs, and at United Way thank-you luncheon (1988) in San Francisco sing-along for a thousand executive guests. We also perform at the Alameda County Fair every year."
