Mission: | To preserve and promote the four-part a cappella, close-harmony style of music known as barbershop. |
Emphasis: | Barbershop harmony is a style of unaccompanied vocal music characterized by consant four-part chords for every melody note. Occasional brief passages may be sung by fewer than four voice parts. |

Concerts/Year: | About 12-15 sing-outs and one main Fall show. |
Auditions: | Yes. the director voice tests prospective members for proper voice placement. Auditions are held after a minimum of 3 rehearsals. Auditions require the ability to carry a tune, i.e., the words and notes of a chosen piece. |
Dues: | Yes. Sliding scale: $9 to $83. |
Dress: | Formal: full tuxedo: white jacket with black striped trousers, red bowtie, handkerchief and cummerbund. Informal: teal blue golf shirts, black trousers and shoes. |
