Basic Information

Description: This is a college community chorus, open to the general public.
Year Estab: 1970
Mission: To provide talented singers the opportunity to sing moderately challenging works for small ensembles (2-4 on a voice part).
Emphasis: All types--especially madrigals and contemporary part-songs, 16th century to present.
Size: 12-16
Concerts/Year: 12-Sep
Auditions: Yes, held in the Fine Arts Room 72, College of Marin, Kentfield, usually at the first class meeting in mid-January and mid-August. Music will be provided and rehearsed the first class or tow, then sing voice part in quartets (one on a part)
Dues: $37 per semester (includes $10 health fee required
Dress: Depending upon event: Renaissance-ish clothes, robes, Spring-like contemporary clothes
Rehearsals: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 1:10 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., College of Marin, Fine Arts Room 72, Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Kentfield
