| Comments: | This group was formerly called The Singing Christmas Tree. The event used to be held at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, with a 40-foot structure. The tree structure doesn't fit at the church any more, but all the rest is the same. Thousands come each year to see this. The group also does 3 performances of the Easter story (singing and drama) every Palm Sunday in sparkling vests. (Rehearsals are January through Palm Sunday). And, there is a patriotic 4th of July pageant as well, followed by a picnic. All performances include some original music." |
