| Mission: | The San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus creates extraordinary choral experiences that inspire community, activism, and compassion. |
| Emphasis: | Emphasis is on music written specifically for the male chorus (TTBB, usually). Our repertoire is extremely varied: from classical to pop, from a cappella to full orchestra. |
| Size: | 275 |
| Concerts/Year: | 3 main concerts and 5-7 Outreach performances. |
| Auditions: | Yes. Auditions are usually held in September and January. Auditions consist of vocaleses, pitch matching and sight-singing. |
| Dues: | $300 per year |
| Dress: | Varies, depending on the performance. All attire is available through the organization and special costume pieces are provided by the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus. |
| Rehearsals: | Monday, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., San Francisco Bahai Center, 170 Valencia Street |
