Basic Information

Description: The Chancel Choir at PCC is an auditioned thirty-two voiced choir composed of section leaders and volunteers; many of the volunteers have extensive choral experience with other choirs. Church services follow a traditional Anglo-American model with an anthem and offertory music performance each Sunday, as well as choir-led hymns. The musical repertory includes choral and solo works from Baroque to Anglican choral masterpieces to contemporary modern compositions, with additional opportunities to perform jazz, gospel, bluegrass, folk, and sacred music from around the globe. The choir has made numerous CD recordings, and frequently performs with orchestras and other instruments, including period instruments for Baroque music.
